7th RSC-CICAG / RSC-BMCS Artificial Intelligence in Chemistry
Artificial Intelligence is experiencing a renaissance in the development of new methods and practical applications to ongoing challenges in Chemistry. Following the successes of five annual “Artificial Intelligence in Chemistry” meetings starting in 2018, we are pleased to announce that the Chemical Information & Computer Applications Group (CICAG) and Biological & Medicinal Chemistry Sector (BMCS) of the Royal Society of Chemistry are once again organizing a conference to present the current advances in AI and machine learning in Chemistry. The meeting will be held over two and a half days and combine aspects of artificial intelligence and deep machine learning methods to applications in chemistry. The programme will include a mixture of keynote talks, panel discussions, oral presentations, flash presentations, posters, and opportunities for open debate, networking, and discussion.
This year, the meeting has changed format to two and a half days and will include a workshop on the first day. Please keep checking the website for updates.

BIWIC 2024
The 29th BIWIC – International Workshop on Industrial Crystallization will this year be hosted by Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, from September 11 to 13, 2024. The workshop organization is supported by Pro2Tech institute of Delft University of Technology.
The workshop has become an important part of the conference calendar for crystallization groups worldwide. The aim is to gather interested parties from academia, industry, and research institutes to discuss their work and exchange knowledge towards overcoming challenges and advancing the knowledge frontiers in industrial crystallization. PSSRC 18th Annual Symposium
The Chair of Solids Process Engineering is hosting the next PSSRC Annual Symposium (in Dortmund) from 27-29.08.2024.
The Pharmaceutical Solid State Research Cluster (PSSRC) was founded at the 2006 AAPS Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX. It has since gradually expanded and now involves researchers from the eleven different universities. They have teamed up to collaborate on overcoming current limitations in the formulation of solid dosage forms. The focus of their work is on the development of novel and improved solid pharmaceutical dosage forms and strategies to ensure the quality of medicines.
The research activities in the different groups cover all areas of solid dosage form development. Current areas of particular interest are solubility enhancement, stability of medicines, physical pharmacy, process understanding, and process analytical technology (PAT).

34th European Crystallographic Meeting
CMAC's Solid-State Research Instrument Scientist, Martin Ward, and Reader, Iain Oswald, will be attending this year’s European Crystallography Meeting in Padova to showcase some of CMAC's latest work on developing strategies for in-house high-pressure powder diffraction.
