The Chair of Solids Process Engineering is hosting the next PSSRC Annual Symposium (in Dortmund) from 27-29.08.2024.
The Pharmaceutical Solid State Research Cluster (PSSRC) was founded at the 2006 AAPS Annual Meeting in San Antonio, TX. It has since gradually expanded and now involves researchers from the eleven different universities. They have teamed up to collaborate on overcoming current limitations in the formulation of solid dosage forms. The focus of their work is on the development of novel and improved solid pharmaceutical dosage forms and strategies to ensure the quality of medicines.
The research activities in the different groups cover all areas of solid dosage form development. Current areas of particular interest are solubility enhancement, stability of medicines, physical pharmacy, process understanding, and process analytical technology (PAT).
More information about PSSRC can be found at www.pssrc.org
Join CMAC at the symposium, where Research Associates Michael Devlin and Mohammad Salehian, along with PhD student Theo Tait, will be presenting their work.
