Ibrahim Khadra

Dr Ibrahim Khadra holds a BPharm degree in Pharmacy from Al-Azhar University Palestine, and MSc and PhD in Pharmaceutical Analysis from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He is also a registered pharmacist with the Palestine Pharmacist Society.
With a strong link to the industry, Ibrahim has extensive experience in pharmaceutical analysis and formulation, development of oral dosage forms, analytical method development, pharmacokinetics, and regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Ibrahim led a team of researchers on the Oral Biopharmaceutical Tool (OrBito) at The University of Strathclyde, a project funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative, a public-private partnership between the European Union and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).
The OrBito project aims to enhance our understanding of how orally administered drugs are taken up from the gastrointestinal tract into the body and apply this knowledge to create new laboratory tests and computer models that will better predict the performance of these drugs in patients.
Ibrahim possesses a fervent dedication to pharmaceutical sciences and is enthusiastic about advancing drug discovery and development.
