Scout SME Clinic In Partnership With PwC

  • CMAC Future Manufacturing Research Hub 99 George Street Glasgow, Scotland, G1 1RD United Kingdom (map)

The SCOUT Project is delighted to provide SME leaders and managers with the unique opportunity to learn from industry experts about what lies ahead for the sector and how SMEs can best take advantage of future opportunities. There will be a discussion on designing your operating model, R&D tax credits, moving into manufacturing, and obtaining support.

A guided tour of the new, state-of-the-art Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre will also be offered to attendees, with the opportunity to hear about the exciting work already underway at this world-leading, carbon neutral facility. This includes discussion on how cutting-edge technologies are delivering; a reduction of API, solvent and energy usage in manufacturing, leveraging digital twins to maximise operational efficiency, and reducing <50% wastage in automated clinical trial manufacture.

As space is limited, and demand is expected to be high, we strongly encourage you to register as soon as possible by emailing ERDF.SCOUT@uk-cpi.com.

The SCOUT Project is a fully funded service which aims to accelerate and de-risk the growth of Scottish SMEs in the chemical, biochemical and life science sectors, who are seeking or developing disruptive technologies. This is jointly funded by #CMAC, the European Regional Development Fund (managed by Scottish Enterprise) CPI and the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC).
