Intro to Digital Manufacturing (NMIS)

This course has been designed for those with limited prior knowledge of digital manufacturing and contains both technical and non-technical information to help you gain a holistic appreciation of the industry.
At the end of this course you should have a good understanding of digital manufacturing topics such as Industry 4.0, Internet of Things and Cloud Manufacturing. You will also become familiar with common terminology used by those working in the industry.
This course has an approximate duration of 1-2 hours and consists of 22 lessons and 1 knowledge check. On completion of the course you will receive a certificate of completion from the University of Strathclyde.
This course has been has been developed by the department of Design, Manufacturing & Engineering Management (DMEM) of the University of Strathclyde and delivered through the NMIS Manufacturing Skills Academy thanks to the Advancing Manufacturing Challenge Fund (AMCF). This course is part funded by the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Fund.
