University of Strathclyde
Dr Eleanor Jones is a Research Technician at The Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences.
With academic and industry experience in Pharmaceutical Solid State, she merges this with her knowledge in biopharmaceutics to advance research with the gastrointestinal bioreactors - TIM-1 and TIM-2. Her primary responsibility lies in overseeing the operations of the GIBio facility; planning and co-ordinating experiments, assisting in the delivery of research activities and supervising students.
Committed to ethical research practices, Eleanor is a member of the SIPBS 3Rs focus group, which aims to reduce, replace and refine the use of animals in pharmaceutical research. This aligns with her work with the TIM systems and the role they play in the replacement of animal studies.
